WingForte PilotMatch™
Aviation careers, intelligently matched.
Find the right cockpit. Find the right crew.
PrototypeWingForte PilotMatch™ is a structured matching platform connecting qualified pilots with airlines, operators and aviation employers on real professional criteria — licences, ratings, hours, recency, language, location and availability. It is closer to an intelligent professional matching platform than a traditional jobs board.
PilotMatch is an emerging WingForte product concept currently in development. Nothing on this page describes existing customers, contracts or placement results.
How matching works
- 01Pilots create structured professional profiles
- 02Operators create structured requirements
- 03PilotMatch compares both sides
- 04Transparent match score
- 05Connection request
- 06Mutual interest
- 07Direct recruitment conversation
For pilots
A pilot profile is structured, not a free-text CV. Every field is comparable, so matching reflects genuine professional fit rather than keyword luck.
A pilot profile may include
- Licence type
- Licence authority
- Type ratings
- Total flight hours
- PIC / SIC hours
- Aircraft-specific experience
- Recency
- Medical status / expiry
- Instructor / examiner status
- Languages
- Nationality
- Country of residence
- Work authorization
- Relocation willingness
- Preferred bases / regions
- Availability
- Notice period
- Permanent / contract preference
- Rotation preference
- Salary / rate expectations
- Previous operator experience
- CV and supporting professional documents
Sensitive documents are never exposed publicly. The pilot controls what is shared and when.
For operators and airlines
Operators and airlines define structured hiring requirements. PilotMatch then identifies the most relevant pilots against those criteria.
A requirement may include
- Aircraft type
- Captain / First Officer / other role
- Licence requirements
- Total hours
- PIC / SIC hours
- Type-rating requirements
- Minimum aircraft-specific hours
- Recency
- Language requirements
- Work authorization
- Base
- Relocation
- Contract type
- Rotation
- Start date
- Salary / rate band
- Other mandatory criteria
Transparent matching
No mysterious percentage. Every match shows the factors behind it, so both sides can see exactly where a candidate fits and where the gaps are.
Illustrative profile — not a registered pilot or operator.
AI is used as decision support. It does not make hiring decisions, and it does not replace operator assessment.
Confidential discovery
Pilots in a current position may want to explore opportunities without becoming publicly visible. Confidential mode lets a pilot be matched on qualifications alone.
An operator initially sees
- A320 Captain
- 8,400 total hours
- Current type rating
- ICAO English 6
- East Asia
- Available in 90 days
Not shown until the pilot decides
- Full name
- Current employer
- Personal contact information
- Confidential documents
The pilot chooses when to reveal identity and contact details, after receiving an appropriate connection request.
Mutual connection model
No open recruiter spam. Contact is controlled by the pilot at every step.
The operator sends a connection request. The pilot sees
- ›Operator
- ›Role
- ›Base
- ›Salary / rate range where provided
- ›Rotation
- ›Contract type
- ›Match explanation
Messaging and contact details open only after consent from both sides.
Planned verification model
PilotMatch may later support verification indicators such as:
The scope and process of verification will depend on available data sources, aviation authorities, operator requirements and applicable law. No authority integrations or official verification relationships exist today.
Document privacy
Licences, medical certificates, CVs, training certificates, references and identity or work-authorization documents are stored securely and are never openly searchable.
Public profile
Professional summary only. Searchable, non-sensitive.
Operator match view
Structured qualifications relevant to a specific requirement.
Confidential document vault
Pilot-controlled access, permission-based and auditable.
International from the start
PilotMatch is designed for cross-border recruitment and multilingual aviation talent. The United States is not the primary initial focus.
- Asia
- Middle East
- Europe
- Selected African markets
- International charter and business aviation
Initial market validation will focus on regions where international pilot recruitment is already common. Regional claims will only be made once supported by reliable evidence.

A platform subscription, not a recruitment agency
PilotMatch is positioned as a software subscription rather than an agency taking placement commission. Pilots and employers remain responsible for their own employment discussions, contracts and regulatory requirements.
PilotMatch facilitates professional discovery and matching. Employment, licensing, immigration, medical, regulatory and contractual eligibility remain the responsibility of the relevant pilot and employer.
Part of the WingForte ecosystem
PilotMatch fits naturally within the broader WingForte aviation technology vision. WingForte connects:
- Clients
- Operators
- Brokers
- Pilots
- Crew
- Aircraft
- Trips
- Service providers
- Data
- Workflows
PilotMatch adds the talent and recruitment layer.
- 01PilotMatch — find a qualified pilot
- 02Connection
- 03Operator relationship
- 04WingForte — crew, operator and trip workflows
Future integrations are described as intent, not as existing functionality.
